A Benefit Sunday Funday Makeup Tutorial: Purple and Bronze Eyes Any Day of the Week - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Is it wrong to want Sun brunch on a Wednesday afternoon? — or to get a footling dolled upwards and don colorful makeup in the middle of the week? I promise not, because today the Benefit Dominicus Funday palette and I accept reservations. Nosotros're doing a daytime/brunch look together featuring eyes in purple and bronze.
To test the versatility of the brushes that come with the kit, I told myself non to use whatever other brushes for this look, which was tough because I'm really picky nigh my eye brushes. I unremarkably ditch the ones that come with palettes similar this i, but the Sunday Funday brushes actually shine similar stars. I wouldn't toss my best brushes for 'em, but they should exist swell for trips and purses when you want to travel light.
The Do good Sun Funday Palette
Despite the palette'due south name, I'g guessing these colors are safe to wear whatever twenty-four hours of the week, ha!
Most of the products I use for this tutorial hail from Do good Sunday Funday, merely if you happen to take whatsoever similar shades from other brands, feel free to put 'em to piece of work!
Kickoff, grab your goodies!
Makeup for the eyes…
- A neutral eyeshadow primer like Do good Stay Don't Stray
- Toasty Liner from Lord's day Funday
- The Pretty in Plum Eyeshadow from Sun Funday
- The Shimmering Bronze Eyeshadow from Sunday Funday
- The Pinkish Satin Eyeshadow from Lord's day Funday
- A black mascara like Benefit BADgal Waterproof Mascara
Your tools…
- Both of the dual-tipped brushes from Sun Funday
- A good lash curler (lately I've been liking the Benefit ProCurl, but Shu's curler as well works dandy)

Eye makeup, eye makeup, one-ii-3
i. Let'southward start by prepping our lids. To prep mine and boost the wear time of the shadows, I outset past smoothing Benefit Stay Don't Stray primer over the unabridged hat with a finger. Then, with the Toasty Eyeliner, I draw a solid block of color straight on summit of the chapeau area (which ramps upwardly the richness of the shadow colors even MORE). Since I plan to smudge it, infant (aww, yep!), in the next step, I kinda blitz through it.
2. Color me bad. With ane of Sunday Funday's fluffy eyeshadow brushes, I pat Pretty in Plum directly on top of the liner, and, with the same brush, depict the color up into the crease.
3. Deepen the crease. To tone down the purple just a smidge and create the illusion of more depth around the eyes, I sweep Shimmering Bronze into the crease with the other Dominicus Funday fluffy eyeshadow brush. So, with a finger, I draw the color up toward my brow bone to mellow out whatever harsh lines.
4. Open up and say "center" with a spot of shimmery shadow. For a wide-eyed expect (insomniacs like me use this fob all the time!), I dab a finger direct into the pan of Pink Satin to selection up some color, and and then utilise a dot of it at the center of the lid. No need to blend out edges here because Pink Satin should settle on its own after a few minutes.
5. Let's line the lower lash line to make our eyes Pop! First, I line information technology with Toasty, and then I smudge Shimmering Bronze directly on top using the Dominicus Funday angled eyeshadow brush.
six. Mascara fourth dimension! As a finishing bear on, I curlicue my lashes with the Benefit ProCurl Curler and apply three coats of Benefit BADgal Waterproof Mascara both to my upper and lower lashes (now bat them prettily!).
Dominicus Funday lips and cheeks
Dominicus Funday even comes with makeup for lips and cheeks (I swear this affair has it all).
Here, I dot and blend Sunday Funday'south Benetint on my cheeks, contouring the surface area beneath the apples with Hoola and swiping Shimmering Rose gloss on my lips.
And at that place y'all have it! 🙂 Sunday makeup on a Wednesday afternoon.

Karen
